Voice interactions use low-latency real-time WebRTC audio streaming with Dr. Morgan (powered by Vapi). Audio and transcripts stream directly during your active session to deliver immediate clinical responses, while your final rating estimate, matched 38 CFR criteria, and debrief report are computed 100% locally in your browser. Closing the tab or resetting clears your session — nothing is saved to any ExamRecon server or database.
Rehearsals are completely anonymous — ExamRecon never collects your name, Social Security Number, VA claim number, or medical records. Real-time voice data is processed solely to conduct your mock examination and generate your on-screen report; we do not retain or sell personal health information.
If you purchase Claim Cycle or Monthly access, your unlock code is verified by a server function and a flag is stored only in your own browser's local storage — not on our servers, and not linked to any personal profile. Payment itself, when processed, is handled by our payment provider under its own privacy policy; we do not receive or store your card details.
We may use privacy-respecting, non-invasive analytics (no cross-site tracking, no ad pixels) to understand aggregate traffic and improve the site. These do not read your session content.
