ExamRecon is an independent, educational rehearsal tool. It helps U.S. veterans practice describing symptoms before a C&P (Compensation & Pension) exam, and produces an estimated disability-rating range based on the answers you give, scored against publicly published 38 CFR Part 4 criteria. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or reviewed by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs or the Department of Defense.
Nothing on this site or produced by the simulator is a medical diagnosis, legal advice, or a decision by the VA. Ratings are estimates based on what you describe in a rehearsal conversation — actual ratings depend on medical evidence, service connection, examiner findings, and VA adjudication, none of which this tool has access to or can predict with certainty. For claim assistance, use an accredited Veterans Service Officer (DAV, VFW, American Legion, or similar) — this is free and we encourage it regardless of whether you use ExamRecon.
This tool exists to help you describe your real symptoms accurately and completely — not to coach exaggeration or fabrication. Misrepresenting your condition to the VA can constitute fraud. Use ExamRecon only to rehearse an honest account of symptoms you actually experience.
Claim Cycle ($149, six months of access) and Monthly ($29/month, cancel anytime) unlock unlimited mock appointments, the full debrief report, the gap analysis, and the combined-rating planner. Every paid plan carries a 30-day no-questions refund — email the address on your receipt.
ExamRecon is provided "as is." We do not guarantee that any estimate matches the outcome of a real VA examination or claim decision. You are solely responsible for decisions made based on your use of this tool.
